<<AUDIO BLOG>>

Quinton Porter's first game of the season was a good start but he needs help to keep it going. Converted cornerback Will Blackmon was one good target but Larry Lester needs to return to his level of last season. Army is a good opponent for Lester to get started in the right direction.

"Welcome to the ACC" by Joe Johnson

Boston College's transition from the Big East to the ACC wasn't always smooth during the past two seasons but the Eagles did a fine job of introducing themselves to their new league mates last season with a convincing 37-24 win over North Carolina in the Continental Tire Bowl. Now Tom O'Brien has to rally his troops again to face a tough slate in the Atlantic Divison against heavies Florida State, Clemson and N.C. State. But after dealing with Miami and Virginia Tech regularly in the Big East, the Eagles should not be star struck.
Quarterback Quinton Porter is back in the pocket after being red-shirted last season. We'll see if the year off helped him mature and prepare to step in to lead Boston College on offense. Porter is a pocket quarterback who will have to find ways to run B.C.'s mutiple offense.
