Instant Replay isn't perfect, but...
- Different from the NFL
- It can help the game

I disagree with one thing here...I think it's FASTER than the NFL version because you've taken the replay to the booth instead of leaving it with the refs.
Plus, there's less pressure on the refs this way and let's face it, the ACC refs STINK enough the way it is!!

That is one difference but what you didn't HEAR was that the main thing Drew didn't like here was that the coaches couldn't make a challenge like they could in the NFL and I would have to agree with him there.
If the coaches want to challenge, they should be able to and they should take away time outs just the same if they lose the challenge.
I'm not sure if it will slow the game down much the way they're doing it in the ACC this year but I do like the strategy tha it places on the coaches in the NFL but I like taking the control away from the field refs.

We are too caught up in getting everything just perfect...part of the game is the human element and for the most part, refs do a decent job. You get some calls, you lose some calls. In the long run, it evens out.
Forget all this instant replay rubbish and let's just play the game and let the refs do their job. The human element is simply part of the game and regardless of what type of instant replay system you use, it's always going to slow the game down!!!
